The focus of this class is helping you plan a successful cut flower garden, that is filled with flowers, not weeds, stress, or frustration. At the end of the class, you will have a garden plan and a seeded tray you can use immediately to grow your own beautiful flowers this summer.
In this 2-hour class, students will receive:
- A guide to understanding climate, soil, growing space and YOUR garden schedule
- List of easy cut flowers to grow in spring, summer, and fall
- Instructions on how to plan for beautiful bouquets
- Example seed-starting and transplanting schedules
- Tips for including the good (pollinator habitat & wildlife) and the bad (weeds & pests) into your plan
- A garden planning journal page, with a map of your garden and draft plan in place.
- A tray of six, 4-packs filled with soil that you will seed yourself in class
A minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 15 people per class.
